Now this one is interesting! It's one of the non-spoke designs that I have included. If you have examined the weights in order so far, then I think you will agree that this one looks to be much better quality than the others. Three concentric rows of mixed style canes enclose a red and white star pattern cane. Alternate twists and canes - 8 of each - make up the outer row. Black ground. |

Not too many bubbles! The inner canes are quite simplistic but the outer ones are clearly of better quality. The twists, with their double spiral white threads around a thin orange core could be seen in many weights. If you have studied Weight 3, you may have noticed an exact cane match with those in the second row of this one. |

Quite clean and tidy but very squat. Not much more to say except that this is one of those that fluoresce as likely "Ysart Brothers" period. And the exact cane match with Weight 3 helps to confirm this. |
