A single row of spaced grey-blue canes surrounds a light blue cane with star centre. A "1-2-2" pattern is formed by the 9 thick white twists. Translucent blue ground. Large top facet and five slightly concave side facets. |

As yet I have not seen a faceted Vasart weight. So, Strathearn is the first thought. The inner canes are very well made with a quality not often seen in Vasart canes. (But note that the one that looks like an "S" is not a signature cane - it's a misshapen standard cane!) The outer row of salmon coloured canes are tube-like with a distinct lip. This form does appear in some Vasart canes, but the colour and quality of these suggests Strathearn. |

A very clear dome with very precise facets. The setting of the canes and twists is very tidy and the surface finish of the canes is close to perfection. Another good indication for a Strathearn weight is the thick white twists. |
