Weight Number 13

A single blue and white cane sits at the centre of this large weight.

A "1-2" pattern is formed by the 6 red and cream twists. Then a garland row surrounds the whole design. The garland canes are alternately red and blue.

My first impression when seeing this weight was, "It's crunchy".

All of the canes have a similar structure - a star-type pattern around a single central cane. The picture shows that the boundaries of the clear glass surrounding each cane are virtually unseen. This adds to the visual separation of the canes.

A very tall dome with only a few random bubbles.

It is the simple design and chunky appearance of the canes that leads me to believe this is a Vasart weight.
