This Event Is Now cancelled
The response to the suggestion of holding a contest
for local clubs has been encouraging and I
would like
to thank those who responded with constructive
comments and ideas.
As a result of listening to these comments and
in an
attempt to accommodate points made, the
following
format has emerged.
1.
Any band can be used but only
one Tx at a time.
2.
Antennae can be wire at a
maximum height of
8m or verticals.
3.
Maximum power 100w.
4.
Contacts can be SSB or CW.
5. Simple scoring : 5 points for each contact.
The date of the contest will be :
Sunday
27th June 2004. from 1400 to 1800 hrs BST.
G4ADV will be on 80m or 40m (if 80m is no good)
from about 1330 for informal contacts with any club taking Part. The idea is to
get our rigs on the air and have fun.We hope to hear you. Good luck in the
