This rig
provides a flowing trace that will sit near the sea bed. The hook snood
is attached to a swivel, near the base of the rig, the long hook snood
is the looped over an upside down bait clip, near the top of the trace.
The bait is then held by the impact shield. When the trace hits the
water the hook snood is released and the bait flows out. The rig is best
suited to clean beaches without snags.
The hook can be either a
single or pennel arrangement.
