Whenever the Hutt had some personal business to attend to in the far city of Mos Eisley, he more often than not used his customised Ubrikkian space yacht. The yacht was also built for space travel, allowing Jabba to travel to the Outer Rim Territories or to any part of the galaxy if need be.
On of the striking features about the yacht is the transparisteel dome that sits atop the superstructure. This dome covers the area inside the yacht that is the Hutts throne room. The room took up much of the cruisers superstructure, as it was also used for ship entertainment and the sleeping quarters of most of the worms thugs and minions.
Set immediately aft of the throne room, and with two smaller observation domes, are Jabbas personal quarters. Like his Tatooine palace, there is a droid pool; an extensive galley; an armoury; a hangar bay; and many guest quarters. Due to Jabbas constant paranoia, and knowledge that almost everyone was out to get him, all the rooms are fitted with listening and visual pickups. These allowed the Hutt to keep constant tabs on his men. The cruiser is able to hold its own in space, with six Z-95 Headhunters sitting in the hangar bay, along with two small landing shuttles. These were in case Jabba wanted to take a few extra men with him when visiting, just in case. Many rumours are also flying around that there is an area in the deepest bowels of the yacht for Jabbas pet; a cute creature that gets fed from time to time.
The cruisers sublight speed is almost equivalent to that of a Victory Star Destroyer. This is made possible by the pair of Ubrikkian N2 ion engines, which are helped out by three smaller Kuat T-c40 ion engines. During atmospheric flight, two vanes located at the rear of the vessel are used as ailerons. The manoeuvring jets are placed on a trio of retractable rods on either side of the cruiser. Although the yacht can reach speeds of up to eight hundred kilometres per hour, the slug prefers his pilots to set a much more leisurely speed, so as to allow a more relaxed flight for the worm and his guests; it also allows his men more time to prepare themselves. For hyperspace the cruiser has a slow Class Two hyperdrive rating, due to a Koensayr CL-14 hyperdrive motivator slaved to a Ubrikkian unit.
Even without the Headhunters, the cruiser is more than capable of defending itself. It has six turbolasers mounted beneath the superstructures ridge, so they are not easily seen. The turbolasers are Corellian in design and, although they seem to use a small power generator, they are in fact rigged directly to the power core of the vessel, giving them much more power than they appear to have. This has been the downfall of many who have taken on Jabba in his space cruiser; they dont realise the yachts power until it is brought to bear on them, by which time it is usually too late.
