From the Avalanche Newspaper, Grayling, Crawford Co., MI reported on that these two were married quietly at home by Rev. Coombs on the 11 Sep 1906.

Witnesses to the marriage were Corydon Forbush and Mary L Forbush.

We can see from Frederick's military registration card completed in 1918 that he gave his brother James Frederick Knibbs as his next of kin. He was tall, medium build with blue eyes and black hair.
