Alfred is seen to be living at 17 Edward Street, Reddich, Worcestershire at the 1901 census of Cycle Turner, with his wife Lizzie, son Sidney age 2 years and daughter Lilian aged 11 months

So we see from this that Alfred had his mother-in-law, brother-in-law who was employed as a "Crank Polisher Cycles", and his niece, employed as a Domestic Servant, living with him at this time. The brother-in-law was identified as unmarried, so clearly Ada Merry was the daughter of another of Lizzie's brothers or sisters.

Apparently, Edward Street is just on the left as you come into Redditch down the Bromsgrove Road immediately before the Railway Station.

We can see Lizzie at the 1881 census living with her mother and 7 siblings at 15 George St., Redditch, Worcester, England. Her mother Mary Ann Merry was given as head of the household:
