Notes for William Thomas KNIBBS:

We think this is William Thomas Knibbs. We know his name is William and it is either William Thomas, or his father (click to enlarge). I suspect the photo is from the early 1920's in which case it would be William Thomas - but I could be wrong.

Notes for WalterThomas KNIBBS:
I am told by Hilda Elliot, Walter's 1st cousin once removed, that Walter had just one eye, and wore a patch over his missing eye.
Hilda spoke to Edward Knibbs (Walter's nephew, b. 1918 at Aston, Birmingham)and he too remembered his uncle Walter had just one eye with a patch over the other.
Walter was a bachelor.
Walter appears in the 1901 census aged 14, living at Aston, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England with his parents.
