It is a Three Letter Abbreviation - an Example is Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).

Can I ask any question I like?

Yes, as long as I can answer it.

How frequently have these Frequently Asked Questions been asked?

Never. I just have a few answers so I made up the questions. It is an alternative approach to passing exams.

What is the answer to life, the universe and Everything.

The standard answer is "42, but I don't think you really understood the question."

So what was the question?

I don't know, I only provide the answers.

Why doesn't this FAQ have anything to do with humour?

Because you are not asking the right questions.

Okay - where did all this stuff come from.

Most of it is original, the rest came from either email distribution or saved posts from the newsgroup rec.humor.

Why don't I see any of this in rec.humor any more?

Because it got too boring and much too much hassle to bother keep reading it.

Why make the pages?

This stuff has been around a long time and it has been well received by those who have read it.

How long is a long time?

A few bits are about fifteen years old or more.

What about the more recent stuff?

If you look at the "under construction" section, you can see the things that we are currently working on.

What happens if I don't find it funny?

Don't read it.

Is there any rude stuff?

No. Apart from one "tit", a "bollocks" and a "fuck", there are no rude words. And as they are all on this FAQ, you are passed them now.

What about other dodgy stuff from the internet?

No. Not at all.
