This was the only meteor which I got on film from the 2002 Leonids which I thought was worth including in my gallery. I gambled on being able to take photos later on(during and after the peak @ 4UT) but,by the time I started, clouds were already covering more than 50% of the sky. I was lucky just to get this one shot, out of 2 rolls of 36 exp. film that I shot... the others were either too faint,or washed out due to the moon and haze, especially on the other roll of film I shot, which was 800 speed! To make matters worse,my equatorial mount refused to work during the Leonids(no idea why,but it worked fine the next day when I tested it!),so I was unable to track the stars as I had planned, but had to instead be happy with images from what was effectively a very expensive fixed tripod :(
