Notes : This was an experimental attempt at photographing small objects in a "light tent" using a light box (which I normally use for viewing slides on) underneath, as a light source. The stones were simply put on to the light box and a small skirt of white paper (thin A4 inkjet paper folded round into a tube) was placed around them to give some defuse light to the surfaces and control unwanted reflections. I tilted the light table slightly so as I could photograph from almost directly above using my tripod and B1 ball head.
