Here are 2 images side by side of separate exposures which I took on the night before the Leonid storm. The image on the left was taken about 5-10 mins before the one on the right,and they both lasted around 12-15 seconds. Amazingly an almost identical meteor has occurred during each exposure. I'm fairly sure these are not Leonids,but most probably "Taurids" which were almost as active on that night as the Leonids(of which we saw perhaps 20-30). Notice how colorless they are when compared with the Leonids!
