I was, until 23rd March 2002, the very happy owner of a border collie X standard poodle bitch, called Clemmie. She was the perfect companion - did not shed, was intelligent, loving, biddable, easy to train and lots of fun. She died, tragically, of a twisted gut, which the vet thought was very unusual in a 7 year old dog of her size, fitness and weight. I am thinking seriously about getting another puppy and, having seen a labradoodle, believe that one might be just the dog for me. I have a number of small grandchildren - are labradoodles good with babies/children? Also, one of my daughter-in-laws is allergic to dogs, but was not allergic to Clemmie. Presumably, a labradoodle would be fine for her, too? Is there a website where I could find puppies that might be both suitable and available? Look forwar

if a first cross poodle /labrador is a labradodle what do you call a labradoodle x labradoodle. Would that be a labra labra doodle or a labra doodle doodle. Actually my sister just got black scruffy mongrel but he is a gorgeous beastie.

Yesterday I got one female puppy (7 weeks old) from my friend. He said that her father is labrador and her mother is minature poodle. I don't know whether my puppy is labradoodle because in Thailand somebody know about this breed but they never see labrodoodle dog before. Your website give me more information and picture about labradoodle. I will observe my puppy during she growing.

We got a black Laradoodle by acciedent 11 yrs ago at a pet shop. Max is the best dog we have ever owned. Smart, very affectionate, and still playful. We live in the Chicago area(USA) and finally found 2 breeders. They are getting popular out here, and there might be only 6 good breeders in the United States. We have the same problems you have finding these wonderful dogs.

Tonight, we met Ray Jenkins and his wife outside McDonalds. We also had the privilege of meeting Louis and Compo. They were the very first Labradoodles we had ever met although we had been doing lots of research into them. We were all delighted at how friendly and beautiful the dogs were (Louis is my favourite). Ray forwarded your information to us. We hope to get a Labradoodle soon. Our youngest daughter is allergic to dogs for the most part but after alot of fussing of the dogs tonight, 4 hours later and there is no sign of any reaction. Fantastic! We hope to meet more Labradoodles soon.

Having read ALL of the requests for puppy breeder information it sounds like a tall order but can anyone help? Hi to Carol Gowing (breeder in Cumbria) Saw yr msge in guest book.. We got Roo, a chocolate Labradoodle bitch, from Carol 18 months ago. She is the most wonderful friend/companion to my 10 yr old daughter Rachel who thinks she is the luckiest girl to have such a fun dog. They are always together and a big plus for mum is that there are no dog hairs! A friend who is normally allergic to dogs stayed for a week and did not have a reaction at all so these dogs are truly marvellous for families with allergies.. Roo is very bouncy, she has the most fantastic temperament, not even a growl at man or beast so far! A wonderful loving pet who has quickly become one of the family, she is bright and comical, we all love her to bits!
