| Score 16 or more: Your dogs brilliant! Fewer than 5% reach this level. He is capable of learning more and needs advanced training to keep him challenged. Score 11-15: Your dog is in the upper intelligence range and will need an obedience programme so he doesn't play on your emotions. Try to challenge him with new commands. Score 6-10: This is a low average, but a common score range. Don't expect your dog to respond to everything, but when he does, always praise him. Living with him at his pace will prevent frustration on your behalf. Score below 6: You need lots of patience with your dog! Keep training sessions short, but always be firm. Don't expect him to know more than the basics, but reward him often. |
