Scrub out and disinfect the cage(s) of male mice. (female mice can be done every 10 days or fortnightly). |

Change the bedding material and replace floor-covering (wood shavings/saw dust). |

Wash and refill water-container. |

Check the cage for signing of your pet gnawing it. If they have make sure there are no sharp edges as a result and repaid any serious damage. |
|
Check and, if necessary, replace branches / sticks and any other toys that have been badly chewed. |
