Welcome to my My Child doll's website. These dolls were made by Mattel during the 1980's, today they are beginning to become sought after by collectors. They were sold throughout many countries, each of which have their own slight variations. Unless specified, all of my dolls were sold in England. |

This website is designed to display my own collection of My Child dolls, none of which are for sale. I hope you find my website interesting!
This is a picture of my first doll, Amanda. I remember being taken to a toy shop to choose her when I was about five. As you can see she is well played with, but amazingly still has all her original clothes and shoes. She is, and will always be, my favorite doll.

To the left you can see Hannah (wearing yellow) and Samantha (wearing blue). The flower dresses are my favorite of the My Child Clothes. To the right are Ellie (wearing sailor dress) and Louise (wearing pinafore dress), both long haired blondes. Ellie belongs to my sister who has kindly lent her to me for this website. |

This is Anne. I particularly like her face colourings. She looks brand new. I still have her original box but have taken her out for display. One day I would like to get her a pair of yellow t-strap shoes.

Above are Andrew and Amy. Andrew comes from America as boys were not sold in England. At present I only have two boys but am looking for more. I would like to change Andrew's outfit so that he and Amy are not wearing the same. |
Here is another picture of Louise. Dolls with long hair such as this are more difficult to find. |
This is another picture of my flower dress girls. I would like to get the pink and orange dresses as well. |
|
|
This is my other boy doll, Gavin. He also comes from America and is in his original box. At the moment Gavin is the only green eyed doll in my collection. There are four eye colours to collect.

This is the star of my collection, Linda. She is a very rare doll in perfect condition. You can see the difference between the English and American boxes.

Lindsay is the latest doll in my collection. She is still in her original American box. The African American dolls were not sold in England. I am hoping to find a little African American boy to sit with her.
