*What sort of Courses do we offer?* When you come to study English with us, we work with you to plan a special programme for you, designed to meet your particular language needs and interests. We offer Courses to adults (18+) at Beginners, Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced Levels and if you wish we can include modules for Business Hotel and Catering English Literature Drama Jazz Keswick and the Lake District Famous people who have lived or stayed in the Lake District Courses usually consist of 20 hours of language tuition per week Monday to Friday, with Sessions starting at 9.15 a.m. and finishing at 1.15 p.m. (breaks included). We would, however, be very happy to offer additional Afternoon Sessions if you would like them. Emphasis is placed on spoken English, but all the four language skills - listening, reading, writing and speaking are undertaken in the lessons. We use a variety of language activities which might include:
role-plays discussions pair-work language games & activities songs & poems	studies of texts (aural and written) studies of newspaper articles or magazines group work one-to-one
The teaching on all of LEL’s Courses draws on considerable and successful work with adults in a variety of circumstances and at different levels. The aim of the Course is to set you as much of a challenge as you feel happy with, and to make your visit to Keswick a productive as well as an enjoyable one. *How much do our Courses cost?* A Course of 20 hours of language tuition per week costs Ł195.00 sterling. If you book for a Course lasting more than a week, there is a reduction in the price of the basic Course Fee. Whole day intensive courses are available - hours and fees by arrangement.
