An Astral Entity Experience

An Astal Entity Experience

Date: 4/5/99

Before going to sleep last night, I made a general request to the god-forms I work with, making known my desire to meet with one of them in a dream-state. This is a relation of the dream that followed, which was full lucid, and which I am regarding as an astral experience.

I woke. To my left my partner was fast asleep. A little light was coming from behind the curtain, from LEDs on the stereo, and from the thermostat on one of the reptile tanks.
The room was tingling with magickal energy. Above our bed was an indeterminate, but solid, white cloud, drifiting across the bet to the right of the room.
I was intrigued by this, but at the same time my body was pushing at me, saying "this is starting to get really wierd, and I'd really like it if we could start running away about now". I ignored it, and tried to wake Wulf, thinking "he'll really want to see this".
I pushed at him, and got no result. I tried to talk to him, but found, as I've previously have under such circumstances, that I could barely raise my voice above the tiniest of whispers.
My panic reflexes were starting to get the better of me when out of the corner of my eye, I noticed that there was something odd about the room. It was deeper, although I couldn't see how much deeper. Hey, black walls in the dark fuck up your sense of perspective like that.
However, fucked perspective wasn't what had attracted my attention. About a meter and a half away from me was a black upright piano. Sitting on a stool in front of it was a child - a blonde girl, maybe 7 years old, with her hair falling in ringlets about her face. She was wearing a white dress - the frilly sort that you don't really see these days - with pink ribbons on the dress and in her hair.
She was looking at me, smiling. And she was playing the piano, left hand only, a haunting tune, that if I could reproduce would, i'm sure, leave my audience quivering with fear at the first few notes.
Assuming it could be played on a real piano at all, which I doubt. At this point I was scared shitless. I'd also worked out that I wasn't really awake. I've had a lot of realistic lucid dreams, but this one was just hyperreal.
Trying to wake myself up, and failing, I got up from the bed and left the room sharpish. The corridor looked good. All pretty normal, or at least as normal as our hall corridor ever looks. In fact, it even had the pieces of carpet we'd put over the boards in part of it only a couple of days ago.
This all duly noted, I walked past the doorway of the computer room and into the sitting room.
There, instead of the mass of reptile tanks, the large table which usually dominated the room, and the kitchen area, was a room the same size, but different in just about every other way.
It was a room with bare walls & floorboards. It wasn't empty - there were items strewn, seemingly randomly, around the room - mostly wooden objects. The one which most attracted my attention was a fairly large (but not full length) square wooden framed mirror, which I ended up in front of. The mirror surface looked old - it was pitted.
I can't remember what I saw it it, but I'm pretty fucking sure it wasn't my reflection. It may have been nothing at all that saw in it, or just the reflection of the room in front of it, not including myself.
I freaked out again. For someone generally assumed to be pretty au fait with wierd shit, I was doing that an awful lot, and for no real apparent reason. I ended up back in bed, and I honestly can't remember if I dashed there from the sitting room, or if I jsut appeared myself there.
Ignoring everything else around me, I concentrated on waking myself up. This time it worked. The room was still sticky with energy when I awoke. I think the while thing couldn't have lasted more than 3 minutes (of dream time at least).
