Elvira: Mistress of the Dark

To Get You Started
Go to the stable and get the hay, go to the room opposite the captain of the guard's room and get the axe and shield. Enter the castle. Go to the library and get the spellbook, go to the kitchen and if the cook's there go to the dungeon and get some salt to throw on her. Elvira will then turn up, give her the book and get the honey. Ask her to make Herbal Honey and drink it. Go to the armory and get the long sword and crossbow. Go upstairs. Go into all the rooms (except the vampire's) to look for the bolts.

Where to Find Stuff

In the herb garden	aconite, bleeding heart flower, bloodroot, dandelion, elderberries, hellebore, parsley, plantain rose and witchhazel
On the garden paths	belladonna and dogwood
At the bar	absinthe
In the center of the maze	algae, black lotuses, blood lilies, lilies and lily leaves
In the dungeon	spider webs, beetles, centipedes, earwigs and spiders
The falcon	a bird's feather
Maze's paths	bird's eggs, nettles, thistles
In the kitchen	honey, red wine, white wine
Vampire's room	vampire dust (when you kill her)
Backyard path	flame flowers, firethorns, 4 leaf clovers, hawthorn, maiden tree leaves, mistletoe and mushrooms
Burial chamber	dragon's blood (look at the door)
Living room	fern, monsters
Outside stables	hay
Inside stables	horsehair
Battlements	ivy
Bathroom	laudanum
Chapel	manticore hide (inside bible)
The well	Moss
Inside shed	maggots
Outside shed	nightshade
Outside herb garden	poppy

Keys
1.Behind the dumb waiter in the kitchen (Elvira can get it for you or you can do it yourself).
2.The grey knight (kill with crossbow then dive into the moat to look for his body).
3.The torture chamber (take ring out of the wall).
4.The stable (behind ring in wall).
5.The falcon (kill the falconer first).
6.Captain's room (kill captain first).

If you're running Elvira off floppies then, when you die and are asked if you want to play again, take the disk out and select YES and you'll start where you left off.
