Love spells are among those most commonly requested, so we're including a large variety of forms. I'm not entirely sure of where a lot of the information here was aquired, as a large amount of the info was given to me second or third hand. If you recognise any of your own work on this page (or the rest of this site for that matter) that has not been credited or which you do not wish to be included, please let us know and we will take it down or, with your permission, credit it appropriately.

You have several options with love magick. If you mean to inspire true love, you'll have to rely pretty much on your personallity, but magickally induced lust, attraction, and servitude are all possible.

The spells included here can be used by anyone of any sex and any sexuality. The pronouns used vary. Quite a few of the spells mentioned here are untested by us, so we make no garuntees as to their effetiveness, and even fewer as to the effectiveness of the majortity of the spells and rituals we have linked. Please let us know of any results (or lack therof) which you achieve.

A) Glamours
This is the simplest method to create attraction and lust. Now, as I'm have no idea of your sex, sexuality, the likes and dislikes of your specific target (or even if you have a specific target) and you appearence, I can't give you anything specific here, but I can give you a general method.

You create a glamour by imposing your will on your projected appearence. You should take your most attractive and favourite features, and enhance them, and also project a general aura of being very sexually attractive.

An Exercise In The Projection Of A Glamour
Sit or stand in front of a mirror.
See yourself completely neutrally, with your mind as empty as possible.
Observe yourself and all your aspects.
See yourself as a beautiful and sexual being, and keep this in mind, truely believing that this is who you are.
If you find your own reflection an incredible turn-off and very unattractive, you might want to try without the mirror.

B) Sigilis and Servitors
Examples of sentences to sigilise include:
'It is my will that will be attracted by me'
'It is my will that will lust after me'
Whatever.

In this regard I would find it better to create a basic attraction spell like "to attract any person I want" and when you meet that person, shoot the serv of to it. That way you can always recall the serv if that person should not be exactly what you want.
What would also be possible if you have your eyes on a certain person is that you get something from that one (cloth, picture any link) and create representations for you and the target. Both need to have links to the one they represent. Bind them together and create a servitor or any thoughtform or even evoce a god to help, with the task to bring those two together in lust.

C) Herbs and Reagents
We get quite a few requests for herbal potions to make someone fall in love with someone else, but basically, it doesn't work like that.
Herbs and reagents would generally either be used to either aid in the ritual for the purpose of creating a suitable ritual atmosphere, or for giving to your victim to create an altered state of mind or to affect their hormonal balances.
Note, administering any drug type substance to anyone without their consent is illegal in most places, as is the use of many psychoactive drugs. We do not encourage any illegal activities, and all information is for informational purposes only.

Ritual Enhancements & Herbs with Magickal Uses
Ritual enhancements are to be used in conjunction with a ritual to create the right atmosphere, aiding in bypassing the psychic censor. There are also herbs used in gris gris and similar charms which may also be burned.
Couch grass: used to attract a new lover.
Cinnamon: Burn to sharpen psychic powers, to draw money, speed healing, confer protection and to strengthen love.
Clove: Protection, exorcism, money, love and purification
Dragon's Blood: Use for love, protection, exorcism and sexual potency.
Frankincense: Protection, exorcism, spirituality, love and consecration.
Rosemary: Burn for protection, exorcism, purification, healing and to cause sleep; to restore or maintain youth, to bring love and to increase intellectual powers.
Other herbs to bring love include: copal, juniper, and rose.
Herbs to bring lust include: cinnamon, clove, ginger.

Another good method is to burn herbs while preparing for going out to see the object of your desire or before you go to a club with the intention of finding a mate. Some of these may also be burned on candles as oils and worn as perfumes.

Oils can be used for anointing, candle dressing, baths, charm bags or any other magickal purpose. Please use only pure essential oils rather than 'scented' or 'fragrance' oils, which are often made from artificial ingredients and have no therapeutic or magickal benefits.

Recipes for perfumes and oils to bring love
APHRODITE OIL
5 Drops Cypress
2 drops Cinnamon
a small piece of dried Orris root
Add the true essential oils & the orris root to an olive oil base.
Anoint your body to bring a love into your life.

FIRE OIL (elemental)
3 drops Ginger
2 drops Rosemary
1 drop Clove
1 drop Petitgrain
Wear to invoke the powers of Fire, such as energy, courage, strength, love, passion & so on.

LOVE OIL
7 drops Palmarosa
5 drops Ylang-ylang
1 drop Ginger
2 drops Rosemary
1 drop Cardamom
Wear to draw love. Anoint pink candles & burn while visualizing.

Another Love Oil
15 parts dilute Rose Otto (3 percent rose otto absolute in a jojoba oil base)
15 parts dilute Jasmine (3 percent jasmine absolute in a jojoba oil base)
2 parts Lavender Oil
Add a 1-inch piece of vanilla bean and a little sprig of Yarrow to the bottle.

Reagents With Direct Results
Pherormone perfumes: as seen in every sex shop and porn mag, these things has been reported to work.
Cannabis: this weed and its extracts have a relaxing effect, which can aid in mutal bonding in a potential relationship. Unless your intended is anti-drugs, of course. Other drugs also have a variety of uses in love and sex, but more to do with experiences within an existing relationship.

Other
Love Tea
To bring love into your life, make this tea every Friday and sip slowly by the light of a pink candle while projecting your readiness for love to the universe.
Make the tead from rose petals, lemon balm, jasmine flowers, with a pinch of cinnamon, ginger and coriander. Sweeten with honey.

Love Sugar
By the light of a pink candle, fill a glass jar with fine white sugar and add one vanilla bean and either a cinnamon stick or a bit of lemon peel. As you fill the jar, gaze into it and empower it with feelings of love, friendship and acceptance. Use the sugar while baking and decorating cakes and cookies which you will share with friends and loved ones; as you bake, fill the cakes with love and joy. This sugar could be used in conjunction with the love cake recipe on our site.

D) Calling Upon the Aid of Entities
If you want to involve an entity with established powers and an established meme, and if you know what you are doing in your dealings with entities, I would reccommend considering working with one of the following entities. More details descriptions of these entities can be found in our directory of god-forms.

Aphrodite/Venus
Greco/Roman goddess of love compassion and beauty. Born of the sea Aphrodite is also the calmer of waters. Patroness of lovers and sailors, also patron goddess of the island of Cyprus where she sprung from a giant clam.

Beleth
Appears in the Key of Solomon, and related Goetic documents. He has been described as taking the form of "a terrible and mighty king, riding on a pale horse, preceded by all manners of musicians". These "musicians" Beleth's retainers have been known to appear visibly during dealings with him in the form of of sparkling lights surrounding the Triangle of Manifestation.
Waite found Beleh to be "very furious when first summoned, and [he] must be commanded into a triangle or circle with a hazel wand of the magician pointed to the South-East. He must be received courteously and with homage, but a silver ring must be worn on the middle finger of the left hand, which must be held against the face. He procures love between man and woman and is of the Oracle of the Powers."
Despite the dire warnings of Beleth's ferocity issued by both Waite and Idres Shah, several magicians of my aquaintace have found him to be an amicable being, seemingly amused by the concept of humans wanting to deal with him.

Dagdagiel
Quabbalistic guardian of the 14th tunnel of Set, the equivalent of the Empress, but here degraded to a prostitute. Her magic is love philtres, and her sicknesses are venereal diseases and nymphomania.

Eros/Cupid
Greco-Roman god of love.

Ezrulie
In vodoun, an idealised figure of womanhood; loa of love and beauty. Her aspects include: Erzulie-Séverine-Belle-Femme (aspect of Erzulie as a beautiful woman), and La Belle Femme (aspect of Erzulie as the fair Venus), among many others.

Isis
Egyptian, consort of Osiris mother of Horus. All growth and life is protected and nurtured by Isis. Presides over regeneration, love, devotion, and relations between the sexes.

Ishtar
Babylonian fertility goddess, equivalent to Astarte.

Lilith
Hebrew female devil. Adam's first wife. Said to have been exiled from the Garden of Eden for wanting social and sexual equality with Adam. She was said to have briefly been Satan's consort, and to have been the mother of demons, notably the Jinn, the Lilin, the Mazikeen, and the Succubi.
Originally a Sumerian goddess of sex, female sexuality, women, and childbirth, she was portrayed with wings and owl's claws, and is said to be the 'screech owl' mentioned in the bible. She is regarded by many as a goddess of higher intelligence and the untapped subconcious, and is sometimes portrayed as having the lower half of a serpent. Myrrh is a perfume associated with her.

Oshun
The goddess of love, sexuality, beauty, and diplomacy in Santeria and Yoruba traditions. With her sweetness, she overcomes the most difficult tasks. She is the protector of the abdominal area and the teacher of pleasure and happiness. She is often invoked in matters of love and money.
It is said that she can be moody if she is not kept satisfied and will take away all she have given. When her anger is roused it is fearsome and difficult to placate.
Her colours are white and yellow, her day is Saturday, and the Saint she masks behind is the Virgin of Caridad del Cobre, the patroness of Cuba. Her sacred metals are gold and copper. Fresh, sweet, flowing water, such as springs, rivers and streams, is sacred to her, and offerings and spells in her honour are most effective when done in these places. These should not be done at an ocean or sea,as these are the domain of her sister Yemaya. Oshun is often portrayed as a beautiful woman with copper skin, and long hair.

Pan
Greek god of lust, later relegated to devildom. Wild god of the hills and forests. Inspirer of both terror and joy maker of music. Represents male sexuality and the 'animal' part of the psyche.

Pertunda
Strega goddess of sexual love and pleasure.

Pomba Gira
Pomba Gira and her sisters are the female compamons of Eshu. The character of the Pomba Gira is primarily lascivious, promiscuous, pleasure-loving and free of all inhibitions. She has quite a lot in common with the succubus of European demonology but without the sinister overtones. She has also been equated with the Mesopotamian goddess/demoness Lilith.
She likes alcohol and sex and both can be indulged in her honor or used as an offering. She can be called upon to bring about the satisfaction of love, lust and vice, and also to cause others to lose control and disgrace or ruin themselves. Long term work with her has been said to inspire transvesticism in men.

Tzinteotl
Aztec "Goddess of the Rump", a goddess of sex, depicted with bare breasts and often drawn with a snake, symbolizing lust. Prostitutes and nymphomaniacs were thought to worship this goddess.

Tlazolteotl
Aztec deity known as "the Goddess of Filthy Things". Also known as the "Witch Goddess". Goddess of carnel matters, able to incite illicit love affairs, and lust. Like Xipe Totec, she is often represented wearing the skin of a sacrificed victim. She is identified by the band of cotton worn on her headdress and a black spot covering her nose and mouth. Often seen carrying a broom in hand, she is honoured during the month that one sweeps, "Ochiponiztli".

Xochiquetzal
Aztec "Patroness of Erotic Love", "Goddess of the Flowering Earth". Honoured during the "Farewell to the Flowers" festival signifying the coming of frost. This was a solemn festival where people would make merry and smell flowers knowing they were about to dry up and wither in the coming season.

Then of course is the possibility to evoke gods and demons. Abramelin for example gave 20 symbols (squares actually) to gain the love from various ppl. The operation is done by Beelzebuth (sp!). You have to name the name of the target of which you want to be loved and touch the corresponding symbol.
The 6th and 7th book Moses would also give some details as to how to gain love, but they are utterly tasteless and if performed as written, total crap.
As for gods: Freyja, Aphrodidte/Venus, Astarte, Beltis, Branwen, Ishtar, Isis, Eros, Oengus Og etc would do for a talisman or evocation.

E) Runic Spells
Arawyn conThanatos
For love the runes:
Gebo (sexual magick, harmony between lovers, unity)
Ansuz (attraction)
Nauthiz (conquer the one you want - here the spell becomes a curse )
Tiwaz (only included for a garant of victory)
Ehwaz (trust, loyalty)
Thurisaz (Love magick, hammer rune and guess what hammer)
would work. Just create a bind rune of those (the alternative ehwaz rune could be used so that the bind rune would look better) - see attached file. Additionally a stadhagaldr can be performed where you assume the shape of the runes, chant their galdr and say some other chant what they are supposed to do (nauthiz in any case to induce the need in the other to be with the caster).
The bind rune itself can be used in a talisman with the names of the 2 involved persons written around it.
For a talisman, copper would be the prefered material, but I doubt that the one you want to love you would be overly pleased if you'd present him a copper ring. (Copper armbands are quite fashionable now though).

Spell From The Galdrebok To Win A Girl's Love
In the galdrbok is a spell "to win a girl's love" While fasting make the second helm of awe with your saliva in your palm when you greet the gril whom you want to have, in such a case it should be in your right hand. (looks like 4 algiz runes joined in cross form)

A Runic Lust Spell
You need:
Physical basis for the talisman, copper would be best
Red colour for the colouring of the runes
Link to both targets

Runes:
Nauthiz: Creation of need
Thurisaz: Overcome resistance, power over the target and phallic symbol
Wunjo: binding the target, joy, pleasure
Gebo: Ecstasy, Union
Ehwaz: trust and loyality
Ansuz: Attraction

Design a bind rune from those runes (see below for an example).


The runes get carved or drawn first. Each one seperately in the following order:
Th, N, A, W, E, G

On the sides of the bindrune place the names of the persons involved and the corresponding links. Would be a nice idea if the colour used for this would include some fluids of the targets. While drawing the runes, chant their approbriate name and a short line like in the example below. When finished, combine the power of the runes and set them to work.

th: Overcome all resistance puts against me
n: I evoke burning need in with the power of nauthiz
A: feels attracted to me
W: Wunjo! Bring friendship and joy in and my relationship and bind him closer to me
E: Ehwaz! shall trust me completely and is loyal to me
th: is now in my power

G: ...and results in ecstasy and sexual union.
N: Nauthiz! The burning need to be with me shall remain in . His lust for me will consume him

F) Other Notes
Energy Bond
The most easy to bind one person would be to imagine the 2 people you want to bring together opposite of each other and then start weaving a red (or whatever other colour you associate with love/lust) aura around each of them that starts to link. At the end they should be both enclosed in one big sphere of love. the important thing there is, that you also bring in that feeling. Just imagining wouldn't do, you'd also have to feel that emotion at the moment of casting. Works quite well for friendship too btw. And if you want to destroy it, just go in between with a sword or whatever and rip the link between the two apart.

Lust Sigilrettes
This only works on smokers. Various love-related deities could be evoked to add power to the rite. All you need is a pack of cigarettes. Evoke lust/love into the pack. A nice mantra like "X will love me" or "X will lust after me" etc should do. The pack should then be given to the target.
Of course it would also work with something to eat or drink. But I prefer the inhaling.
