Beltane Day, the Celtic festival marking the beginning of summer, where the cattle was driven between purifying fires before they were let out to graze the meadows.
Also the festival of Belenus, the Celtic god of fire and the sun.

Gwalchmai Ap Gwyar was the nephew of Arthur, better known as Gawain. His name means 'the Hawk of May'. He was the epitome of virtue and courtesy and is listed in the Triads as one of the three best men with guests and visitors from afar; he achieves more by his courtesy than others achieve by deeds of arms. Gwalchmai/Gawain is unequalled as the champion of women and many modern wiccans see him as a champion of the Goddess.
