An authentic Geordie classic steeped in the history of the North East Coal Mining industry. There is much laughter and joy but also some tears as working class family life is presented in all its many facets. A sparkling mixture of song, dance and individual human drama. If you did not see it I am sure you will regret having missed it. Those who have seen it in it's original form would be interested to see how it has been developed by the author over a number of revisions as the years went by.
