Jessica is currently studying Leisure and Events Management at Sheffield and is enjoying student life. Her first stage role was as Gretl in the Sound of Music with Ponteland Rep at the age of seven. She has appeared in at least one musical a year since 1996, playing Kim in Showboat, Bonnie in Anything Goes and Mrs Sowerberry in Oliver Whilst appearing in The Wizard of Oz Jess admits to having been upstaged by Toto, played by her young cairn terrier. An accomplished dancer, she has been on loan to two other societies and she now ready for what she calls "The grown up stuff" of the serious stage. Jessica welcomes the opportunity given to her by the Progressive Players in her debut role in "Black Widow" playing a demanding dramatic role which she is enjoying immensely. |
