Jim Race

 

In 1979 Jim and his father were looking for a drama club to join. They found the Little Theatre, and Jim's first role was the small but crucial part of Fred Beenstock in "Hobson's Choice" (1980). Since then he's played a variety of characters, including three murderers, four detectives, the ghost of Lord Byron, a curate, an entire restaurant staff (yes, in the same play), and the anthropormorphic personification of Death!

He met his wife, Gill at the Little Theatre and they were married in 1984. They have two children, Simon (who was in the1997 production of "On Golden Pond") and Jennifer, who has also been bitten by the acting bug.
