Mike Keir

 

Mike has been a member of the Progressive Players for about twenty years, and despite originally joining to do sound, he has taken many acting roles as well as doing almost all the jobs related to the production of a play, particularly lights and sound. He has also had a long involvement in the management of the theatre, and is currently chairman of the Little Theatre Directors.

Mike’s more recent acting roles have included Same Time Next Year, The Constant Wife and The Day they Kidnapped the Pope. He also produced Biting the Bullet.

Mike finds that the theatre can be a great relaxation after a hard day at work, although both can get pretty fraught at times! Mike’s family are regulars at the Little Theatre plays, and his children Matthew and Sally are also treading the boards with our youth theatre.
