TAKING SIDES
Monday 24th February to Saturday 1st March

Wilhelm Furtwangler was an outstanding conductor who stayed in Germany during the Nazi regime. He was charged with being a Nazi sympathiser although there were many people who testified that this was not true.

He was cleared of the charges but was relentlessly pursued by this slur for the rest of his life. We have the chance to make up our minds as to his guilt or innocence when we watch the play and "Take Sides".
