Tom Fergusson

 

Tom's introduction to the stage was when he was nine years old playing the part of a plump, spotty faced, farmer's boy, in the local church drama group.No make-up was required.

In1962 he joined the Progressive Players and has been involved in various productions including Drama,Comedy,Music Hall and Pantomime, his favourite being Comedy and his best-loved part that of Baines,the butler in Lord Arthur Saville's Crime.

Tom has worked in all aspects of the theatre and has served as Theatre Manager and has been twice elected as Chairman of the PP,s.

In 2002 he was given Life Membership, an honour of which he is extremely proud
