Anthea, one of the party's main spirit rousers, first joined for the St Etienne to Saint Engrace section and then came with us from La Pucelle to Bagnuls    Shan was the party artist and chief marmot spotter, first walked from Gourette to Luz St Sauveur then re-joined for the La Pucelle to Beille stage and then from Mont Louis to Bagnuls Elizabeth, mother of the party, walked all the way (with only a little complaining about the uphill parts but an expressed preference for the next holiday to be in Holland).
