Opera      Jazz     Orchestra      Lecture      Children's Opera

The 46th Llantilio Crossenny Festival of Music and Drama was held from 14th to 18th May 2008 and comprised opera, classical music and jazz performances.  Cymraeg.   

The programme included performances of Handel's opera "Imeneo" which was performed by Baroque Encounter.    There was an illustrated talk about the life and work of the late Charles Farncombe and a jazz evening in the gardens of Treadam Farm with The Dolphin Quintet.   There were also performances of the opera "Hansel & Gretel" by children from a local school.  On Sunday there was an Orchestral Concert followed by choral Evensong.
