
Graduated from Melbourne University with a B.Mus., with First Class Honours in Performance. She subsequently moved to England to continue her studies where she obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Piano Accompaniment at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and a performance diploma from the Royal College of Music. She has performed extensively as a piano soloist and accompanist both in the UK and abroad and has played at Sandringham for HRH the Prince of Wales.
She is Music Director of a number of organisations including the Bromley Philharmonic Choir and Sevenoaks Philharmonic Society, assistant music director for Kentish Opera and is a professor at the Blackheath Conservatoire of Music.
Robyn is in great demand as a conductor having conducted a large number of choral works and operas. Her extensive repertoire includes operas by Bizet, Mozart, Puccini, Rossini, Sullivan and Verdi. She has conducted many of the major choral works including the Brahms and Verdi Requiems, Handel’s Messiah and Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana. She conducted a sell out performance of the popular work The Armed Man by Karl Jenkins and has performed at many of the leading London Concert venues including The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Festival Hall, The Barbican and the Fairfield Halls.
