Private lessons and Intensive Business English Courses

Intensive Business English courses are for adults who wish to improve their English rapidly. For many years we have successfully taught employees of major European companies, who respect and value our professionalism and caring atmosphere. The typical English village life of Lympstone provides the perfect setting in which to learn and practise English, both inside and outside the classroom.

These total immersion Business English courses are normally offered as one-to-one tuition and structured according to each student's individual needs and requirements. The syllabus will be tailor-made and can have its emphasis on grammar, writing, spoken English or on special functions such as telephone and computer skills, meetings, negotiations or presentations. On the first day each student is given thorough written and spoken assessment tests, allowing a detailed written evaluation of his/her strengths and weaknesses and an appropriate direction of study.

Our prices include the following:

• Private transfer from London Heathrow to Lympstone and return.

• Accommodation in host families in a single room with half board, i.e. breakfast and evening meal. (Full board at weekends).

• Pub lunch (two-course meal) with a member of staff on all school days (Monday - Friday).

• Comprehensive assessment tests, followed by needs analysis and individually structured course programme.

• Individual tuition from 9.15 - 12.45 and 14.15 - 16.45 (Monday - Friday)

• Textbook, pen, paper, folders, lesson materials.

• Coffee, tea and biscuits during the breaks on school days.

• 1 afternoon excursion per week (Wednesdays).

• 1 full day excursion on Saturday to places of cultural and historic interest (not on 1-week course). All trips are accompanied by teachers / guides.

• Internet access
