Excursions

Visits to places of natural beauty or cultural and historic interest form an integral part of our courses. During their lessons, all students are well prepared for these excursions in advance, thus making them more enjoyable and increasing their knowledge and understanding of Britain and the British. We offer a wide variety of both full-day and afternoon excursions in the South West region and beyond.

• Visit Exmouth’s beautiful, sandy beach and swim in the calm, blue sea.
• Walk around the Cathedral city of Exeter, exploring its varied architecture, gardens and shops.
• Relax on the mild English Riviera and walk down a smuggler’s tunnel.
• Enjoy the natural beauty of Dartmoor with its tors, hills, valleys, rivers and wild ponies.
• Taste the delicious Devon Cream Tea.
• Be fascinated by the Eden Project in Cornwall.
• Admire spectacular cliffs, historic monuments and hear about legends in Cornwall.
• Look at the elegant Georgian architecture and ancient Roman baths in the World Heritage City of Bath.
• See the sights of London, visit Madame Tussaud’s, the London Eye, the Science or Natural History Museum and absorb the lively, cosmopolitan atmosphere of Covent Garden on our exciting day excursion.

In addition to the full day excursions, there are at least two afternoon trips per course.
