WHILE I WAIT
I miss you I love you Please don't leave, come back
you left and said I love you and i wish I could take you with me
Oh my loved one I wish you could see
How much love I have inside of me
I can't loose you
no not now and not expressing to you how
If I loose you can't you see how big apart of me will be in complete
miserey
I want you now
please come home
I need you now
for me to hold
but, while you are gone think of me
I will think of you oh please beleive
and if not thats ok
cause when you come home it will be to stay
I must go so think of me
and how much it is to charish thee
Don't forget what we have
just be happy and not sad
because I love you and you love me
there is nothing else that we need
Just remember our love is in my heart

God Himself…
By Michael Meakin
In a shipyard, in an Irish cove, rose a gantry guarding a treasure
trove;
And every day, for three long years, countless men stacked, tier on
tier,
The majesty, the grandeur of the “Ship of Dreams,” this ocean dove.
A feat of engineering skill, an act of man’s sheer iron will,
The symbol of a grand new age and, aptly named this gilded cage
Was crowned the queen of wide Atlantic; the greatest liner yet:
TITANIC!
Regally she glided passed; a floating city, mast to mast…
Gaping jaws and glaring eyes marveled at her immense size.
An anchor of stability, “unsinkable” this ship would be…
But her precious cargo, rich and poor, came only once through gangway
door;
Proud and haughty, or low and meek; on a pleasure cruise or new lives
to seek.
What luck her maiden vo

Peacekeeper
By John D. Evans © 2004
I am a vessel
Through which divine inspiration flows
The peacekeeper of thoughts and ideas
As they come together and explode
A warrior with words
Mighty valiant army of one
Paper and pen are weaponry
That get the job done
An unlocked treasure chest
Open and unoccupied
Just waiting
To be filled with poetry
Precious gems inside
I am a vessel
Through which divine inspiration flows
The peacekeeper of thoughts and ideas
As they come together and explode

I
I’m in a cage come find the world to set me free from incompatibility
I feel as though I find the world to be immensely stuporous
Finding my way through the last floundering binge
It makes me think the sky is erratic and slyly unconvincing
Open your eyes I’m in side the deepest reaches of the heart
Simple is, simple sounds, find ourselves suffocating the ground
Eyes are open sight is hallowed with delight
Miss this moment; miss the magic, lose your soul
I don’t know where look, where to run to find the answer
There’s something hidden I see the shadow from the corner of my eye
Knowing a whisper on the perimeter of life
Listening to lies go beyond the stifling parody of nonsense
Fight the illusions, feel the beckoning call of freedom
Wash away the impending flat line th

Bars surround my morbid heart
Pumping the infected blood that tears me apart
demons awaiting outside to carry it away
hoping the chance to posess me will come today
sould traded away long ago
where it used to lay , a black hole deepens as it grows
concience crucified and compassion locked away
to be awarded to those with a bloody price to pay
lack of attatchment protects me from common pain
for those i used to love have become bones and crimson rain
my love comes from the voices in my head
comforting words flow from the rotting mouths of the dead
my mother is the vampyric virgin mary
i live for the day i may kill the child she carried
minions of the night serve me, yet tortured souls haunt me vampyric
tendencies keep me in this cruel world
i long for the taste and smell of blood curdled

THE BOY
All my boyfriends were just flings
We never did much
Just laughed about stupid things
But now the boy next door,
That i have known forever-that
Has jokingly called me a hore,
He asked me out, Came into focuse-I'm so excited
Wanna scream, Wanna shout!
I feel weak when I here his name
I know it may be weird but
There is no shame.
Are you supposed to have sexual fantasies
About your best guy friend?
I don't know but, I hope they never end.
He may not be the MAN of my dreams
But, he is THE BOY!
