It really could have happened here.

Where's loving heart and open door

There, Christ the Babe is born once more

And where there's poverty and pain

There Christ takes up his cross again.

And whether it's Bosnia or Rome,

In that place he will make his home.

So, as you go along your way

Remember what you've heard today,

This story of an infant birth

Can once more promise peace on earth,

And in the hearts of each one here

Can Christ be born again this year.
