Brief notes to accompany the Ministry
ISRAEL. Land of Promise.
A tiny piece of land, approximately the same landmass size of Wales. Its history is one of selection, election and protection. Central among the great continents with a Jerusalem the most unlikely capitol City in the world. That is because it was, and still is the Place of Revelation, Redemption and the Returning of Jesus Christ.
A place of charismatic Patriarchs, fearless often lonely Prophets and King’s both good and ghastly. Sketched across the years are scenes of victory and triumph and of defeat and destruction. Messiah with mighty ministry and miracle and message of love and forgiveness through repentance and faith operating in complete obedience to His teaching. He delivered an intangible abstraction called truth, He endured cruelty and travesty. He completed His Mission with an unassailable triumph.
We are told of the scattering of the people to the four winds and are assured of their return and ingathering to the City on the hills, the City of the Mighty One of Israel.
The BIBLE is our only source of knowledge in these matters.
CHURCH. Invisible building of Promise.
The universal Church of God is made up of specially chosen and responsive individuals, both sexes and all ages. The ‘church’ is not a building comprising individual bricks and stones with jewelled crucifixes, or robed clergy
shuffling along long stone aisles half hidden in clouds of smoke and incense. It is not a Holy Father or Archbishop Cardinal, Moderator, or General Superintendent.
The only people in the Church are born again Christians! Sinners saved by Grace.
The BIBLE is our only source of knowledge in these matters.
ETERNAL COVENANT of Promise.
“I’ve started, so I’ll finish” said the man from Iceland to the person sat in the black leather chair. However the Man in the Glory said that before Iceland existed or the seas froze over. That was the plan and purpose set in place in the Covenants of the Happy Trinity. From glory to glory, from perfection to perfection
It has not entered into the heart or mind of man the things that God has laid up for them that love Him.
Until that soon coming moment we can as born again believers and rightful heirs to the Kingdom be aware of the glory the majesty and the sharing with Him the transcendent bliss and unutterable glory.
The glory which thou gavest Me have I given them that their joy might be full and
complete. Until that moment let us with full commitment BELIEVE LOVE and OBEY.
IT is written and will certainly come to pass.
