What Colour is your Personal Standard?

And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses: so they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, every one after their families, according to the house of their fathers. (Numbers 2: 34).

Let every thing be done decently and in order is a well known directive to Christian believers in the Evangelical Church. Order, beauty and design are built into Christian worship and Christian service.

SELECTED PEOPLE

The children of Israel

The people of God in this instance were following the Lord led by Moses who was without doubt, high among the greatest leaders the world has known. Historical fact.

Each of the great tribes and families of Israel divided in massive groups moved as one. Feet in the sand, with hearts and minds in tune with heaven and destiny.

STANDARDS HELD HIGH

Pitched by their Standards

Each group had their personal colourful and particular standard. Each  Flag-standard with a copyright design. It was all in order each to their own, yet overall all walking,, working and worshipping the Lord with a single purpose. Strength in unity and strength in purpose.

No place here for  those folk who feel the need to walk alone, unable to join with any group or fellowship because they do not meet a particular standard  or hobby- horse doctrine  of the ‘I'm doing it my way’ with an axe to grind and an answer to every spiritual problem in Christendom. Lonely, bitter with no standard of any colour or description. May they rejoin a Christian group or Christian fellowship and rediscover the joy of their salvation.

SO THEY SET FORWARD

And so they set forward.

Christian believers everywhere including the Fellowship of Evangelical Ministries, as the ‘Fellowships of the House of Israel’ before, is set to go forward and to go forward together. Not purpose driven but gently led by the Holy Spirit  giving insight and inspiration through the pulsating truth of the living Word of God. The Bible the book of our fathers which added to the pattern of our nation.

Christians are aware of past history and of heritage and remain people of ‘The Book’.

SHOWING REGARD TO FAMILY AND NATION

Every one after their families.

The Fellowship of Evangelistic Ministries has a high regard and love for every member of FEM and their families too. Our FEM prayer times together reflect that Christian love. We remember each and every member and friend. Also the Churches affiliated to FEM.  Christian families will be strengthened and blessed through believing prayer
