There is a path which the vulture's eye hath not seen

Bible reading: Job 28:7-10

There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture's eye hath not seen: The lion's whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it. He putteth forth his hand upon the rock; he overturneth the mountains by the roots. He cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing.

There is a path scriptures tell us - it is a secret path. A secure path. A selected Path.

It is not to be found on maps or atlases one cannot locate it on a modern Sat-nav system. However it exists today and will continue to exist for ever.

We are aware of a pathway that born again Christian believer’s can know personally enjoy through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. By total repentance of all known sin and absolute obedience to all teachings and doctrines of Holy Scripture. By continuous loyal loving service to our Lord Jesus and his Church on earth. By taking the saving Gospel to the local community and to the world at large. So we have a:

Personal Path and a Privileged Path.

We know of many marked paths and various unmarked paths in the Old Testament each pathway leading to the New Testament - twenty three are drawn for us and the majority of the paths merge into the WAY. The paths became a Person from Nazareth in Israel . His voice filled the villages the towns and the cities of the land with new exciting truth it was heavenly in content and personal in application to each hearer who had the privilege of listening to and learning from the greatest Preacher on the paths of Bethlehem Nazareth Jericho Nain Jerusalem  He sounded the clear beautiful note of the silver trumpet of salvation. His voice of love and authority was as the sound of many waters as he preached by the flowing river of Jordon and the sparkling blue jewel of the Sea of Galilee .

The nature of Jesus Christ as the Son of God, one and equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit, is a primary doctrine of the Christian church. Thus, Jesus Christ was also the co-Creator of the universe, a prime participant in the entire process of creation. His apostle John phrased this idea in parallel with the opening verses of Genesis 1:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made (John 1:1-3).

The apostle Paul also stated:

For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him (Colossians 1:16).

He was a preacher who knew the paths of life and the paths of the people and the possibility and the probability of new life in Himself

The God of Glory had walked down the pathway from the majesty on high and become a baby at Bethlehem , a carpenter at Nazareth and the Saviour of the World at Calvary . Jesus left heaven and lived on earth and His Glory and His inherit power and majesty were seen and heard at that moment of history

He was a man with a mission walking on the paths with purpose. Jesus was outstandingly successful in what He did in what He said and in what he accomplished.

Jesus made the dusty roads and pathways into splendid golden highways of Salvation

He transformed old pathways and divided the highways of history into BC and AD

The Holy One of Israel is still writing and making history across the world today.

Protected Path and a Precious Path

There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture's eye hath not seen: The lion's whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it. He putteth forth his hand upon the rock; he overturneth the mountains by the roots. He cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing.

This precious path can be experienced by Christians

Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. (Psalm 16:11)

Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.(Psalm 119:35

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. (Proverbs 4:18)

This protected path can be experienced by the Lord’s people.

Certainly it is protected from the Lammer-geier the vulture.  Largest vulture in Israel

It was a killer bird of smaller vulture’s eagles and hawks stripped them to the bone and then smashed the bones on rocks for the marrow which was a favourite delicacy for them. This bird also enjoyed eating tortoise it is said to have dropped one on the head of the poet Aeschlus which was mistaken for a stone so ending the poetry reading session and ending the life of the popular poet!!

I am so glad to be protected from the vulture and from Satan the adversary of my eternal soul. There is a path for the Christian believer that the vultures have not even seen. It is a protected path of personal progress of and in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ

The Christian is the glad possessor of Christ's promise of eternal life in the glorious and unending light of His presence, in the city of sparkling jewels and crystal which He is preparing for those who believe in Him (Revelation 21:10-27).
