WHEN WE ARE LOW, THE LORD COMES DOWN TO US

And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone. (Numbers 11:17)

Moses was miserable.

He was a man alone among a million men. He was lonely with a desperate longing in his heart for the wellbeing of his people and friends.

He was a leader with a longing and he was living in troubled times. The sun was shining in the heavens but his heart was sad on earth.

WHEN WE ARE LOW THE LORD COMES DOWN TO US

I will come down and talk with you.

The steps from heaven are well-worn for the Lord is constantly coming down to us, as he did for Moses and indeed all believers through the years. He knows where our feet are placed and he knows the strength of our heart -beat. We can know his presence with us.

WHEN WE ARE TROUBLED THE LORD TALKS TO US

And talk with you.

That is the continuing promise to the Christian believers of the Fellowship of Evangelistic Ministries collectively and individually. He will talk to us, and as we talk to each other the concept and purpose of our work will be clarified as we then talk to all men.

I have heard some say with furrowed brow and knowing stare, it is not what you say, it is what you do. That statement needs qualifying for it certainly matters how we talk and what we say. Those who use the expression usually have very little to say about anything that matters or helps. We need to talk to other people as He talks to us.

WHEN WE ARE SEEKING A WAY THE LORD SHOWS US A WAY

They shall bear the burden of the people with you that you bear it not alone.

The vision and burden on the shoulders of Moses was to be shared with others.

That was the certain promise of the Lord to Moses.

Help was all around him. The Lord makes change quick and easy.

We believe that 2008 will be a time when our concept for and ministry of  FEM will grow and increase, may  the burden now carried by the few be shared among the many.

“I WILL TALK TO YOU” so you may “TALK TO EACH OTHER.”
