Hymn of Praise

Listen to the sweet small voice,
Harken, let your soul rejoice.
Look upon this earth so fair,
All the trees and flowers share
With the angels up above;
Glory in God’s tender love.

See the beauty of this world
To your wondering eyes unfurled-
Mighty oceans, stormy seas,
Sunny days with cooling breeze.
Join with all the hosts above,
Glory to God’s bounteous love.

Smell the scent of glowing flowers,
Make the most of passing hours;
Feel the touch of falling rain,
Know the sun will shine again.
Be as one with Heaven above,
Glory in God’s perfect love.

Taste the goodness in your bread
Taken from God’s harvest spread.
Tend the beasts, the birds, the bees,
Work and pray upon your knees.
Rest in Him who reigns above,
Praising God, the King of love.

Clasp the hand of those in need,
For the sins of others plead.
Cherish family, home and kin;
Turn your back on worldly sin.
Then to Him who dwells above,
Give your heart in thankful love.

Help the sick, console the sad,
Share your faith, be strong, be glad
For the blessings you are given.
With the saints who are in Heaven
Kneel and thank the Lord above
For His Son, the gift of love.
