Throughout 2009 we have been very busy in our continued work for the
Lord, with coffee mornings, visiting partner churches for prayer
breakfasts and services; this has strengthened the fellowship in our
churches. We are busy in our ministry with dedications and coming
weddings also our outreach by the way of FEM Fellowship of Evangelistic
ministries is growing too. |

The ministry team of Mike, Ian and Frank will continue throughout this new year also visiting other churches for preaching and to do joint services forging a lovely bond between our partner churches. Whilst our visiting preachers will be bringing fresh confidence and strength to our lives with bible truths. There are lots going on this year with new visiting ministers who have many years experience in preaching with outstanding sermons, (please see ‘dates for your diary’ on our website. If you want a church where preaching is our strength and paramount to teaching pure bible truths for all who visit, please call in you will hear preaching that you will not hear anywhere else. |

Visiting Minister David Lawton gave a wonderful service on the morning of March 7th and brought most of his congregation with him from Ardsley church. What a wonderful morning we had, with great organ play by Dorothy from their church. The hymns filled us with joy. His word was excellent, stirring & exciting what a lovely time of fellowship we all shared. |

Jesus said: Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Rev 3:20. Jesus is outside the door of your heart, open it and except His invitation. He extends to us a great invitation. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11: 28-29, As Jesus invites us then we should do the same, open our hearts, homes and church’s to everyone. Jesus is only a prayer away. Don’t be burdened let a loving God take your load and find rest now! We opened our church to another with like-minded people and we shared friendship together. We opened our hearts to Jesus and now we have an invitation to you, to friends in other churches but also we open our door to everyone, this door is always open, except our invitation and find new friends whether you’re lonely or not. |

Coffee mornings will continue this year, they are usually held the first Saturday in the month, but look out for the banner or our new window signs going up at the church, or visit us online for dates and news. Enjoy the friendship with Christian people and see how they are usually cheerful and happy people!! |

Kids zone will again continue this year and this is a welcome meeting place for the youngsters of our community aged 4 to 11 years on Tuesday evenings during term time. Games, drawing, crafts and singing are among the many activities, so why not pop in if you have children in this age group and see what is happening. |

Our services start on Sunday mornings at 10.45. And our ministry team of Mike, Ian and Frank, will continue to provide sound bible base preaching, plus our visiting preachers bring freshness in their messages from God’s word. |
