Acts 3:1 ... "Together …at the Hour of Prayer.
IT ONLY TAKES TWO
Again I say unto
you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they
shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
The Lord Jesus
in beautiful simplicity and with loving encouragement brings the gospel truth
that Christians should be in perfect agreement when they pray together. It only
takes two Christians to be agreement, to link earth to heaven, believers
anywhere and in any place on earth in agreement have instant access in reaching
My Father in Heaven. That is a promise which carries power and gives purpose.
What is the area
of agreement in this matter?
(1) For the Son of man is come to
save that which was lost
(Matthew 18:11).
(2) Even so it is not the will of
your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish (Matthew
18:14).
Clearly we see
and understand the perfect agreement between the Son of man and the Father of
our Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven.
The work of heaven is the
saving of men on earth.
That is the covenant
agreement, the ongoing agreement, the eternal endeavour of the Trinity. Men need
to be saved. All can be saved.
It only takes two to Change the world. On this we are agreed.
