Our precious Lord and Saviour declares and desires the very best
for those believers who trust in His Name. Not only has Jesus the desire, but
also the tremendous power at His right hand to make it happen for each and every
one that calls on his Name. The superaboundings of His grace is focused toward
those who love Him. He desires our complete trust, happiness and salvation. Here
in this delightful segment of Scripture, is seen the fullness of His love and
mercy, almost pleading, inviting us to simply ask. More ready to give than we
are to receive.
Up to press you have asked for nothing from me. We have asked for so very little instead of asking much from the Lord of Glory. Perhaps we have asked seldom instead of often. We must go beyond wishing and start asking in faith and trust. Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
The Lord
of heaven who created all sound and noise from the crescendo of thunder to the
whisper of falling thistledown, He wants to hear our voice, he loves to hear our
words of prayer our desires must be adorned with our accent and language. Every
heavenward prayer voiced in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there
was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all
saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
He alone is the only Mediator between God and us. His death is our plea and his intercession our hope, it is all in Jesus.
Now we must ask, at all times, morning, noon and evening. For blessings, temporal, spiritual, and eternal. Personal and family prayer. Local, national and worldwide prayer. In private and in secret also we need to pray in church and in public. There is no limit to prayer in the Name of Jesus.
Then ask
and receive, that your joy may be full.
Joy arising from his abundance – acceptance – assurance; joy unspeakable and
full of glory.
