Album 6
Summer Palette of
Colours
Colour is a personal thing.
Artists and painters have personal
preference when selecting the colours for their work.
Usually a very limited choice of
colour is made. This brings unity to the painting.
Colour in nature’s great
painting is vast and limitless, intense, subdued, full range from the soft
greens of spring, warm bright reds of summer and the cold blues of winter.
The photo’s displayed are simple splashes of colour from the garden. Restful
colour of stone, wood and brick highlighting the vibrant living colours of
trees, plants and flowers.
Birds
visit, but none compared to the eagle of coloured splendour in Ezekiel 17:3,
“Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, long winged, full of
feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest
branch of the cedar.”
