A
Poem for Alexander our son
When
you came into this world it was a magical day
Daddy and Mummy worked hard to make it this way
We wanted to love and protect you so much
And we were so glad we all touched
You
looked so much like mummy
Cute, happy and free
You looked so much like daddy
Frowning and looking so seriously
You
only stayed a very short time
We had so many plans, but such little time
You filled our hearts from the very first moment
So full of joy, we became a family that no one can deny
We
miss you so much our bundle of joy
Fear not son you’re high up in the sky
We wanted you here in your new home
But we understand that you had to go
We
remember all the joyful times
Nappy changes in the middle of the night
We knew you were happiest in our arms
When you slipped away you were in your favourite place
Alexander
our son, our angel in heaven
Be a good boy for mummy and daddy
We miss you deeply
You’re in our thoughts, every second
Fond
farewell Alexander
You were a brave little boy
You made our dreams come true
Sleep tight, our little angel.
Written
by Alexander’s parents Jenny and James.
Then
were there brought unto him little children that he should put his hands on
them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.
