THE GAME
the original boxed set consisted of a 36 page rule book, 6 UNIT trooper miniatures, 4 warrior Dalek miniatures, 6 full colour card cut-out buildings, counters, templates, and two dice
Profiles for The Daleks, UNIT, The Doctor and several other characters were included in the rule book, additional profiles were included in boxed sets of the miniatures with further profiles and scenarios published in Harlequin's gaming magazine "The One Ring"
The Game was discontinued shortly before Harlequin were replaced by Icon Miniatures and then Black Tree Design, It's not too late to start playing however as the game still has many followers and the Starter Set and many of the miniatures are still available from places like Ebay and the Black Tree website.
Although not all the miniatures produced ended up with official profiles allowing them to be used in the game, they did manage to cover the Doctor Who universe fairly extensively, all eight TV Doctors were featured (some multiple times) The Peter Cushing Doctor from the 1960's Dalek Movies also made an appearance as did all the Doctor's companions (bar Katarina).
New miniatures were produced at around the rate of 7 a month with the occasional regiment pack, usually containing 7 or so figures (or however many made up an army of that particular species). The single figures were all available on their own in blister packs and in packs of three, either three of the same figure to help build up your army or three different figures on the same theme
