Charles Royden (1881-1918)

18th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, France, 1914-1918

Or is it? This was passed to me by Nelly, Charles eldest daughter in the late 1970s, who told me it was her fathers battalion in France and that he is on there - somewhere.

As there is YMCA sign on the hut, it is likely that this was the training camp in England before transfer to France.
