Clifford Concept 600 Alarm

This is without doubt one of the best purchases I've made and I will always have a Clifford on ANY car I own from now on.

It has been very reliable and has only had 1 false alarm in 3 years (Due to me servicing in the rain and letting water into the bonnet switch). It was fitted at the Sutton branch of Car Radio's and Alarm's who did an excellent job. The standard of the components and the quality of the wiring and fitment are outstanding.

So what does it give me, well that's easy

I love the auto arming and locking, don't know about you but no matter how careful you are you will ALWAYS occasionally forget to lock up, not any more

I love being able to open the boot, open the doors and turn on interior and exterior lights from a distance, great when you are struggling with the shopping in the rain or trying to find the car in a huge car park. I have found the max range to be 30m on a good day but it always seems to be greater than 5m. I also like seeing peoples faces when the Molemobile growls at them

Negatives

Some advice if you get one, Get the fitters to turn OFF the Blackjack, turn ON the auto arming but turn off the Auto Locking. I say this as it will take you a few weeks to get used to the alarm and get used to exiting the vehicle properly. Once mastered then I would turn on the options one at a time. Also keep a spare battery in the car (having said that mine are all on the original batteries after 3 years)

By the way, I bought a 3rd control fob and use it as my main one, leaving the big master fob at home. The spare fobs are more logical to use (Pictures on buttons) and easier to give to your other half. I also have Valet mode programmed as a single key push on my remote as I use it so often

Cost fitted £650 with extra remote. Would I recommend it YES!

Here is the control light on the dash. The computer interface is behind this panel, I just pop it out and plug in. Shame the software doesn't run on NT or W2000 especially when this is what most laptops run
