Ecotek Emissions Control Valve CB26-P

The Ecotek is one of those gadgets that sounds too good to be true. it claims several benefits such as

As usual I was very sceptical, but they guarantee their results and offer a money back no quibble guarantee and the feedback on the forums was good so I decided to try one

Fitting the filter was hard work and took some figuring out. I have detailed how to do this and a description is available on the Ecotek web site

You then have to adjust it for your car which was pretty easy. The product instructions and documentation are very good as is the build quality. Delivery was next day and I ordered at about 3pm in the afternoon, so a promising start

Initial opinions were to question how it could alter the mixture as I have a lambda sensor which would just richen the mixture again, but on driving the car after fitting it had a noticeable better pull below the power band and seemed to rev up quicker. It also has a distinctive whistle on over run.

So results are

I am unable to test emissions but have no reason to doubt the claims, mine are 0 anyway

So conclusion is BUY ONE, it works
