Plugs for canopy and cowl

 

Name: Capiche 120       /     prototype called CapicheII
Materials:

Wingbalsa on foam core, balsa capping.
Tail as above and same for rudder \ fin.
Fuzz light ply and balsa plus   marine ply u\c plate all cnc.

Build time: Best guess! 80 hours ready to go. This includes patterns for cowl and canopy as above.

Motor (used): YS 140L with 17" x 8" apc  prototype had YS 120 same prop
Pipe: Hattori with aap header.   prototype OS flex header and Weston mini pipe.
Fuel: Yamada mix from Model techniques 20% nitro \ 20% synthetic oil
Radio:

S9151 digitals Rudder and elevator. Throttle 148.
2 x S9151 ailerons, 1700 receiver pack plus 138 DP (pcm receiver)

Flying the 120 is superb, all manoeuvres can be done at VERY low speed. The motor more than capable of sustained forward flight at very low rpms. A 16oz tank will last approx 15mins. Prop hanging achieved at 30% stick travel!! The 120fz or 140 fz would be more than enough (:0)

New canopy added. 21\10\02. A little longer and better the tint helps also I think. Should be a Carbon copy option soon.
